Crown Vic Champagne, a Jazz funk band from Boston.

CVC first made their mark as one of the house bands at the legendary “Wally’s Jazz Club” in Boston.

Since their startup in late 2023, CVC melded soul-jazz with hip pop,old school psychedelic funk and vintage R&B.

The jazz funk five piece featured Malik Hamilton (alto sax),Toby Dorfman (bass), Sam 4real (piano), Eazy Freeman (drums) and Frikk Reinholdt (guitar)

CVC performed every other Wednesday throughout 2023–2024. Their run at the venue became the centerpiece of the band’s active period, drawing in players, friends and listeners who followed the energy from show to show.ho followed the energy from show to show.

After a year of performing, the group parted ways in 2024 — leaving behind a brief but vibrant chapter in Boston’s music scene. .
