FRIKK REINHOLDT is a Norwegian guitarist, recording artist, and performer. Growing up outside Oslo, he was surrounded by the sounds of Barry White, Grover Washington Jr., and Earth, Wind & Fire, and he discovered his love for music early. Hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time started his desire to play guitar at the age of 6, and from there he went down the rabbit hole and started exploring a wide range of different styles.

He studied music intensively for thirteen years before he briefly served as a tank driver and communications operator in the Norwegian army before choosing to follow his passion for music in the United States.

He spent four years at Berklee College of Music studying under Jeffrey Lockhart, Lyle Brewer, Oz Noy & Mark White. He graduated with a degree in guitar performance. While studying he held a residency on Wednesday nights at the legendary Wally’s Jazz Club with his group CVC, and frequently sat in at other small venues around Boston. Frikk performed extensively as a sideman and session guitarist, and played weddings and private events all across the East Coast with Night Shift Entertainment while living in Boston.

He’s also active in the Norwegian music scene and has performed at major Norwegian festivals including Notodden Blues Festival and Øya Festival.

In the summer of 2025, Frikk recorded his first major project under a collective brand called RAFASTIK, it was released on December 26th, 2025.

Based in East Los Angeles, Frikk continues to play, record and develop.
