FRIKK REINHOLDT is a Norwegian guitarist, recording artist, and performer. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of Barry White, Grover Washington Jr., and Earth, Wind & Fire, he discovered his love for music early. Hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time started his desire to play guitar at the age of 6, and from there he began exploring a wide range of styles, later developing a passion for crate-digging and collecting vintage music.

He studied music intensively for ten years before high school. Right after high school, he briefly served as a tank driver and communications operator in the Norwegian army before choosing to follow his passion for music in the United States.

He spent four years at Berklee College of Music, graduating as a guitar performer, and during that time built a strong presence in Boston’s music scene. He held a residency on funk nights at Wally’s Jazz Club with his group CVC, and frequently sat in with his mentor Jeffrey Lockhart at venues around the city.

Frikk has performed extensively as a sideman and session guitarist, worked over 40 weddings and private events around the East Coast, and played major Norwegian festivals including Notodden Blues Festival and Øya Festival.

In the summer of 2025, he and two friends from Norway recorded his first major project under their collective brand RAFASTIK, set to officially release on December 26th, 2026.

Based in Los Angeles, Frikk continues to record, and develop his sound, combining decades of study and artistic exploration into every project he undertakes.
