FRIKK REINHOLDT is a 26 year old Norwegian guitarist from Oslo. Hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time started his desire to play guitar at the age of 6.
He studied music intensively for thirteen years before he briefly served as a tank driver and communications operator in the Norwegian army before choosing to follow his passion for music in the United States.
Frikk spent four years at Berklee College of Music studying under Jeffrey Lockhart, Lyle Brewer, Oz Noy & Mark White. He graduated with a degree in guitar performance. While studying he held a residency on Wednesday nights at the legendary Wally’s Jazz Club with his group CVC. Frikk has performed extensively as a sideman and session guitarist, and has played weddings and private events all across the East Coast.
He’s also been active in the Norwegian music scene and has performed at major Norwegian festivals including Notodden Blues Festival and Øya Festival.
Following his time in Boston, Frikk moved to Los Angeles where he worked at Melrose Sound and mainly worked as a session guitarist.
In the summer of 2025, Frikk recorded his first major project under a collective brand called RAFASTIK, it was released on December 26th, 2025.
In August 2026 he released a short collaborative project with Rico Zane entitled “Tarascon Tapes” recorded in Newport, CA.
