TARASCON TAPES

Tarascon Tapes is a beat tape originally created as the soundtrack for a cartoon concept illustrated by Frikk Reinholdt.

The beats were recorded over the course of a couple days. The recording captures that quick, spontaneous process. It isn’t meant to feel overly polished or constructed: the energy comes from following ideas as they appeared.

Tarascon Tapes features Frikk Reinholdt on bass and guitar, with Rico Zane programming the drums.

It was recorded at Rico Zanes home studio in Newport Beach, CA winter of 2026.
